Stegastein is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Norway, located high above Aurland and the Aurlandsfjord. Here you find a platform that stretches out from the mountainside, giving visitors a dramatic panoramic view of the fjord, surrounding peaks and the landscape far below. It is an unforgettable stop along the scenic Aurlandsfjellet road, often called the “Snow Road”, between Aurland and Lærdal. Stegastein is easy to reach from Flåm and Aurland, making it a popular highlight for travellers on the Fjord Mountain Route - both in summer and winter!
