Description

Important information before booking

Please read the information below carefully before booking. Here you will find what you need to prepare for your journey.

Season

The snowcoaches normally operate from mid-February until the end of April. Please check the booking calendar for available dates.

Departures

We operate between Tyin and Eidsbugarden in both directions. Some departures run daily, while others are only available on selected days. Please read the timetable carefully before booking. Special departure times apply during Easter.

Easter departures

During Easter, the snowcoaches operate as a shuttle service. Please book the departure that best matches your preferred travel time, and we will do our best to transport you as close to this time as possible.

Easter is a busy period, and weather and snow conditions may cause delays. We therefore ask for your understanding and patience.

Booking

All tickets must be booked at least 24 hours before departure. We cannot guarantee availability if you arrive without a booking.

If a departure has fewer than four passengers, we reserve the right to operate the transport by snowmobile instead of snowcoach.

Meeting time

Please arrive at Tyin at least 15 minutes before departure. This gives us enough time to load your luggage and prepare the snowcoach, so that we can depart on time.

Private charter

If the scheduled departures do not suit your plans, you may book a private snowcoach outside the regular timetable. Please check the prices on our website and contact us by email to make a booking.

Luggage and skis

Each passenger may bring:

  • one piece of luggage
  • one pair of skis

Additional luggage must be booked and paid for in advance.

Transport from Tyinkrysset

If you arrive by bus at Tyinkrysset, or need transport between Tyinkrysset and Tyin, this can be added when booking a passenger ticket.

Parking at Tyin

Paid parking is available at Tyin. There are no charging facilities for electric vehicles at the car park.

Snowmobile transport to the lodges at Eidsbugarden

Onward transport by snowmobile to the lodges at Eidsbugarden can be added when booking your snowcoach ticket.

One snowmobile can carry up to two passengers and a total of four pieces of luggage. If there are many bookings, the transport will operate as a shuttle service.

Weather and driving conditions

The snowcoaches operate in the high mountains, where weather, wind and snow conditions can change quickly. This may lead to delays, changes or other challenges during the journey. Safety always comes first, and we ask for your understanding and patience if the conditions affect the transport.
